“I believe ideas should stand on their own merit, rather than on their author’s credentials, I also recognize that readers want some assurance that they are not quoting a 13 year old or a dog” Yves Smith

My name is Eric Boroian. I recently graduated with a degree (Msc.) in Economics and Sociology from the London School of Economics (LSE). As the name of the Blog suggests, I am interested in all aspects of human decision making – especially¬† Meta-Cognition. Having been heavily influenced by the works of Herbert Simon, I have applied this interest to as many areas a possible, one of which, is financial markets. I hope to use Simon’s multi-disciplinary approach to provide insight into the workings of investing, including ideas from disciplines such as Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Mathematics and History.

I then proceeded to read the other postings you have…simply a great blog/site you have. Very well done. It’s on the bberry for the bus ride to work. Thank you for writing.
